The Gold by Giles collection in New Look has a few cute new lines I wanted to show you. This beautiful pink pleated dress (£60) is 100% silk and so very stylish! Then for a more sparkly occasion there is this sequin stripe dress (£65). The sequins are in shades of grey and chartreuse and it even has the upcoming trendiest accessory on it - the corsage. Finally a slightly more classic outfit of this black bodice top (£28) and stripe skirt (£30). Get them while you can!

I have told you before how much I love the Kensie brand and I recently bought another dress from them. This grey silk dress is a good one to dress up for evening with a nice long necklace, a jacket and high heels or wear casually in the daytime as I do with the gladiator sandals I recently purchased! River Island have some really great dresses in at the moment, very 50's inspired in wonderfully bold colours and prints. I truly think you can make most trends flatter all shapes so have picked some of their dresses out to illustrate this. The black and white spotted dress is £39.99 and is a good alternative for someone who doesn't want to do the full skirt look but wants the 50's vibe. The yellow dress is also £39.99 and with the empire line would help to flatter a larger tummy by skimming over it. This next dress with the pretty embellishment at £49.99 would help to emphasise a tiny waist for those lucky enough to have one! Finally I love this coral dress, such a fab colour! It's one for the slimmer girl who has great legs to show off as the frill will draw attention to them.
Not sure how many of you are as addicted to American Idol as me but despite the travesty in judgement that happened this week with Carly Smithson being sent home, I wanted to pay tribute to the dress she was wearing! On the never ending star theme TopShop have just brought in this cool star bag for £15. It's kind of kooky and hipstery but I like these kind of bags for going to gigs as they can contain the basics and don't get in the way too much - just thought I'd pass on that advice!
Just a pair of nice halter tops I wanted to share with you as we are expecting a lovely hot weekend here in San Francisco and I am in a summery mood! The one on the left is from Anthropologie ($78) and on the right from Monsoon (£30). Both are on the casual side and I think would look great with denim.
I bought this 20's inspired tiered top yesterday from Forever 21 for just $22.80. It looks really cute over black leggings with pumps and I can't wait to wear it out!
