Postage and packing

I thought this was a really interesting new development to share with you guys - if you buy from Gap, Old Navy, Piperlime or Banana Republic you can now check out at the same time and only be charged one postage and packing fee of $7 whether you buy from one store or four (although if you only order from Piperlime it is free).  All the websites have been changed to reflect this with tabs at the top of the pages so you can switch between brands whilst shopping.  Would be totally interesting to know whether this increases sales or not!

Gap - Whitney Artist T's

In celebration of the Whitney Museum Biennial several artists have designed t-shirts to be sold in Gap.  As a huge Chuck Close fan his t-shirt (as modelled here by the artist!) sprung out at me but I also love this one from Glenn Ligon. The t-shirts are limited edition so grab your favourites now!

Beryl Cook

It's a little off my normal topic but I just wanted to talk about the sad news that Beryl Cook has passed away today.  I have always found her paintings to warm my insides, such a celebration of extravagant, flamboyant and very english women!  If you haven't seen them before check out the BBC's slideshow and smile.

Patricia Field and M&S?

M&S have released a press statement today about their future link up with Patricia Field, best known for her styling work on Sex and the City.  This is a hugely timely move with the imminent arrival of the film in cinemas next weekend but are we really meant to watch the movie and say "ooh I'll be able to buy that in M&S in October"?  The 35 piece collection will be available in select stores and online and it will be really interesting to see firstly how reigned in the eclectic stylist is and secondly how well it sells.  There's no doubting the hype will be great for M&S!

Treasure chest ring

I saw this awesome treasure chest ring in a magazine yesterday and fell in love! Depending on my personal spending this weekend in Portland I will be hoping to order it next week! It's $44 and is 14k gold plated with lots of fab swaroski crystals inside. Oasis - Floral dresses

For those of you looking for the perfect floral summer dress these three are new into Oasis. The red printed dress is £85, the other two are £80. Each is a great silhouette for a different body shape - the red floral for slimmer girls who want to create some curves, the white and yellow floral to hide large hips and the pink floral to make the most of a curvy hourglass figure.

Next - One shoulder dress

This one shoulder jersey dress is very reminiscent of Katherine Heigl's at the Oscars with the hoop detail on the shoulder. At just £35 from Next it's a much cheaper option!

Headphones

My friend Chantal recently asked for advice on buying new headphones. Now whilst technically I had nothing to add to the discussion, I saw these headphones in Urban Outfitters and had to share! These funky Grande heapdhones from Boosted are $70 and I can just imagine her wearing them :)
