I went shopping yesterday and amongst the sale diving in Anthropologie I found this awesome dress. It's a love or hate it definitely, but I'm happy to say when I wore it out on date night last night the maitre d' commented immediately :) So below is a representation of the total outfit - tan riding boots (mine are actually from Office), a black belt (mine new from H&M yesterday), a lucite circle necklace (mine from ebay) and a stack of bangles.
This is a beautiful dress (£80) I have picked out to show you from Warehouse for a perfect evening wedding statement. I dressed it up with just some really simple accessories as the dress does so much of the talking! The earrings, bracelets and bag are from Oasis and the shoes are from ASOS.
I spotted this lovely yellow dress (£45) in the new items in TopShop and immediately thought of how I would wear it! So I've had a play and come up with two ways - all items are available from TopShop.
As a side note, I know some people think leggings have had their day (or year or two!) in the fashion spotlight but I'm just not ready to give them up yet :)
How can I not write anything about how completely wonderful Coleen McLoughlin looked as she became Mrs Rooney? Admittedly next to Wayne Rooney most people would look pretty great (he did look like a troll in a suit), but I must say I think she had the most beautiful dress I have ever seen - excepting my own maybe! Even so, I was saying to a friend, if I had my time over I would definitely be searching for a cheap copy of her Marchesa gown! So a big pat on the back for the most stylish, classy footballer's wedding ever and congratulations to the high street bridal company that makes the closest copy of the dress - it'll be a best seller!
I know the Oasis occasionwear posts are always popular so I have done a little update of the new items around a black and white theme. Again I am using my new toy Polyvore - hope you like it as a tool to show you a whole look and outfits?
My good friend Ami pointed me at Tarina Tarantino's website knowing my taste in clothing/jewellery/shoes and she hit a bullseye! For those of you still looking for that perfect one shoulder dress and not finding it in the "skinnier stores" I found this really nice one in Torrid for $58. Dress it up with red shoes and matching lippy for that perfect look!
The gladiator sandal trend is still going strong and so it was inevitable it would get mixed with the perennial summer favourite - the jelly shoe! Office are stocking these jelly gladiators in multiple colours for £15. A great way to take this trend into the sea on holiday!
